Phulera Dooj 2015

According to Hindu Calender, Phulera Dooj  falls on the second day of the waning phase of the moon(Shukla Paksha) in the  month of Phalgun.

Labh Amrit Chaughadiya - From 08.38 to 11.27 a.m.

Abhijit muhurat- From 12.29 to 1.14 p.m.

Shubu Chaughadiya - From 12.52 to 02.14 p.m.

Labh Chaughadiya - 09.40 to 11.16 p.m.

Phulera Dooj is celebrated in the Braj region of India, around Mathura-Vrindavan that is situated in Uttar Pradesh, India.

This festival falls between the two major festivals of Vasant Panchami and Holi. Due to its timings it signifies that Krishna is preparing for playing Holi with his beloved Radha and other cowherd girls (Gopiyan).

On the occasion of Phulera Dooj Krishna temples are decorated. Devotees gather in the temple to have a special glimpse of the deity of Krishna.
