July 1st, 2016 – National Doctor’s Day


National Doctor’s Day = 1st July, 2016 (Friday)

Hello lovely people, today we are coming here with new title “Doctor’s Day”. Do you know, each year we celebrate the day 1st July as Doctor’s Day across the world. It is observed that, the doctors are like Gods on earth as heaven. The day, 1st July is celebrated for their human services to mankind, which is very special for each medical practitioner. The first Doctor’s Day was celebrated in the year of 1991. Each doctor of any specialization assumes the entire medical professions.

The Indian Doctor’s Day story is too interesting. In the history, the day July 1st was seen as the birth of renowned Physician and partisan Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy in the year 1882. He is remembered till date for his active participation in starting many institutions, hospitals and was fully dedicated to the upliftment of Indian society.

The historical activity, Doctor's Day is celebrated to pay homage to Dr B C Roy and salutes the spirit of dedication. The red carnation was chosen as the official symbol for Doctors Day because of the color of the flower is in spirit of the characters of the medical profession. It is the representation of adoration, charity, sacrifice, bravery and audacity.

This day is dedicated to all doctors and nurses temporal to remind them of their important role in our lives. Doctors owe challenge that even a brevia mistake could drastically affect a patient's life and commitment to serve them by all their power. Thus the Doctor's Day is celebrated by people as a perfect time to recognize the pressure of the job, expressing thanks to doctors for mentoring and to be grateful for their ability to comfort and restore. US and other western countries celebrate the Doctor's Day on March 30 in remembrance of the day when Dr. Crawford W. Long first used ether anesthesia in surgery to remove a tumor from a patient’s neck.
